Field of application

The Micropilot FMR20B is a compact radar level instrument for simple, efficient measurement in liquids and bulk solids. Using W‑Band 80GHz radar technology, it delivers a narrow beam angle and stable performance, even in confined installations or tanks with internal structures. Guided setup wizards make installation and commissioning quick and intuitive. Bluetooth connectivity enables remote access through the SmartBlue app, while a status LED supports easy device identification in the field. Built from robust, corrosion‑resistant materials such as PVDF and PBT/PC, it withstands harsh environments common in water, wastewater, utilities, and basic solids handling. With a measuring range up to 30m (98ft), approvals for hazardous areas and drinking water, and compatibility with 4–20mA HART systems, the FMR20B is a reliable solution for everyday level measurement tasks.
