Field of application
The Micropilot FMR30B is a compact radar level sensor for continuous, non‑contact measurement in liquids and bulk solids. Powered by 80GHz W‑band radar technology, it provides a highly focused beam for stable performance, even in narrow spaces, outdoor basins, or small vessels with internal structures. Guided setup wizards streamline commissioning, while Bluetooth access via the SmartBlue app and a built‑in color touch display support convenient local or remote operation. Built from robust PVDF and PBT/PC, it withstands harsh environments across water, wastewater, utility, and solids applications. With a measuring range up to 30m (98ft), approvals for hazardous areas, food contact, and drinking water, and compatibility with 4–20mA HART systems, the FMR30B is a reliable, versatile choice for storage tanks, silos, and everyday level tasks.

- Reduction of the max. possible measuring range due to:
